Growth Companies

Since some of its key employees bought the company, Ann Arbor-based software developer Enmark has built its revenues up to $5 million a year. They have also doubled the number of employees to 30. Not bad for a firm that was floundering after Y2K fears faded.

Enmark has been able to do this by developing new software products for metal service center distributors. It's also allowed the company to spread their its base across North America, helping keep their bottom line growing.

And even though predictions for the country's economy are dire, President-elect Barack Obama's pledge to heavily invest in the county's infrastructure bodes well for this specialty software company.
