Danotek Motions Technology was established in November 2000. Their work focuses on the development and production of innovations in advanced motors, generators, and integrated control technologies.
The company serves fortune 25 global companies in the transportation, energy, and medical markets. Their goal is to make improve quality, efficiency, and cost, all the while staying environmentally friendly.
Danotek, in the last year, has been on the forefront of wind-power energy and has received funding from NextEnergy – a non-profit working to advance alternative energy in Michigan, as well as a $2.3 million MEGA tax-credit to grow their research.
Danotek currently has 15 employees in southeast Michigan. They’ve added three in the last year and hope to nearly double their workforce in the next 12 months. Business manager Carla Glaze sees the possibility for 140 employees over the next five years.
"Not only are we a great company to work for, but it’s a great Industry we serve," says Scott Holda, Human Resources representative for Danotek. "Right now we’re primarily serving wind energy industries. The outlook and opportunities are tremendous for this in the coming years."
