The Depot Town Community Development Corporation (DTCDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has executed a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Ypsilanti, through which the DTCDC was granted the authority to maintain, operate and fund improvements for Frog Island and Riverside Parks. EMU Hillel is a part of Hillel of Metropolitan Detroit, based at Wayne State University, which provides community-wide social, social action, Jewish awareness, and sporting events for Jewish students and young adults throughout the metropolitan Detroit area. Because of this connection with HMD, Jewish students who attend EMU can participate in programs in both Ypsilanti and the metropolitan Detroit area!
