The University of Michigan's Life Sciences Institute pulls together
scientists from a variety of life science disciplines for collaborative
projects. They focus their work on the biological problems of human
health. These different backgrounds, with their different approaches,
open up a unique laboratory environment that sparks new, innovative
ideas and projects that speed up the understanding of life and the
ability to treat disease.
