I am a scientist at the University of Michigan, Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences, and my job centers around using images and movies of the X-ray Sun taken by satellites to the determine the 3D structure of the outermost layer of the Sun’s atmosphere, called the corona. In addition, there is a lot of fun travel!
