If you were passed out, and woke up in Cafe Felix, you might think you were in a cafe off of the Market Square in Bruges, because a Parisian-themed cafe would be gauche in Paris, no? The multiple televisions above the bar would clue you in that you were probably in the Midwest. Despite this, the atmosphere is nearly perfect for a “Euro-style” cafe, and the outdoor seating in the summer is unparalleled. A simple tapas menu, rounded out by sandwiches, flat bread pizzas, and crepes, makes this either an after dinner or after theater stop (eight different coffees with your choice of liqueurs!), or a mid-Sunday afternoon lounge-about. ½ off martinis on Mondays and ½ off bottles of wine on Wednesdays from 7 - 11, brings in a crowd. The wine selection is comme il faut, and the herbal infused vodkas make for a more sophisticated martini.
