Clean tech may not yet be an economic force of nature, but it is clearly the way of the future. To wit, U-M, along with seven other universities, has landed a grant to look into how to achieve clean burning coal.
Excerpt:"The U.S. Department of Energy said Wednesday that it has awarded two grants to the University of Michigan to underwrite $1.2 million in research on the use of coal-based fuels in clean-burning advanced turbines."
