Video U-M’s Solar Car Team

For five years running, U-M’s Solar Car Team has taken home top honors at the North American Solar Challenge with their maize-and-blue solar racer, Continuum. 

At this year’s competition –a 2,400 mile race between Plano, Texas and Calgary, Ontario– ten hours separated U-M’s team from its competitors.

The 2-year revolving project involves nearly 200 students from three different schools and work has already begun on 2009’s model, The Infinium.
