Ann Arbor is one of the main players transforming Michigan’s economy from brawn-based to brain-based and it’s no more evident that in last week’s job creation announcement from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Ann Arbor-based companies received millions of dollars in tax incentives to invest millions more into expanding their businesses and creating local jobs.
