Residents move into downtown Ann Arbor’s Ashley Terrace

The first residents are moving into downtown Ann Arbor’s newly opened Ashley Terrace. The condo tower on the edge of downtown is expected to begin filling up in earnest this spring as construction begins to wraps up.

People are starting to move on up into the Ann Arbor‘s newest downtown condo tower – Ashley Terrace. The Ann Arbor news takes a look at some of the building’s first tenants.

The elevator ride is swift and quiet, the walk down the hall to the condo short and sweet.

 

And before you know it, you’re in Kelly Stevens’ eighth-floor Ashley Terrace home, high above the edge of Ann Arbor’s Old West Side. Her views north and west would take many an Ann Arborite’s breath away – the Huron River sparkles in the distance, the neighborhood below is shrouded with thick trees and cars on West Huron Street seem to glide by.

 

Stevens, 67, was the first person to move into Ashley Terrace when she arrived at the end of March. The mixed-use, 10-story Joseph Freed and Associates project opened last month after 22 months of construction.
