Mobatech wins Best of Boot Camp award from Ann Arbor SPARK
Mobatech went to Ann Arbor SPARK’s entrepreneurial boot camp and kicked butt. The cell phone software development firm won the best of the boot camp award that helped refine its business plan and overall business ideas.
Most people cant wait to get out of boot camp and put it behind them. Mobatech thoroughly enjoyed its experience at the Ann Arbor SPARK’s 13th annual Entrepreneur Boot Camp and is happily reliving those memories.
The cell phone software firm won the Best of Boot Camp award for its business concept development and investor presentation, beating out 15 other teams. It won a $5,000 initial engagement at the Ann Arbor SPARK Business Accelerator.
Mobatech designs and develops cutting edge software for mobile phones. One of its main products is called the Mobile Checkbook, which is distributed by T-Mobile and Sprint Nextel
The entrepreneurial boot camp is a unique combination of hands-on learning and one-on-one mentoring facilitated by SPARK. It is an intensive two-day business planning and preparation event designed to help early stage technology businesses refine their business concept and to attract additional funding and resources.
