A brief history of the Concentrate crew:
Managing Editor: Jeff Meyers
Along with overseeing all of the editorial content in Concentrate, Jeff is also the managing editor for its sister publication, Metromode. He is also an award-winning (2008, 2009, 2010) film critic for Detroit's Metro Times. (He's the guy no one agrees with). He sits on the board of 826Michigan and The A2 Awesome Foundation, and formerly served on both the Ann Arbor Public Art Commission and Ann Arbor Cable Commission .
Before moving to Michigan, Jeff was the Creative Director for StageDirect (an Internet start-up out of Portland, OR), a freelance writer and critic, an adjunct instructor at Clark College and the co-founder and former artistic director of Theatre Vertigo in Portland, OR. Before that he spent 10 years working as a microbiologist. Jeff has been published in numerous publications, has had screenplays optioned, stage plays produced and in 2000 was a finalist for the Oregon Book Awards for his collection of poetry Hereafter. He currently lives in Ann Arbor with his family. In his spare time he makes short films.

After working as the DDA Director for the City of Owosso, she merged her writing and development backgrounds into one, regularly contributing to Lansing's Capital Gains, Metromode, Concentrate and Forbes.com, specializing in community development, local government and entrepreneurship.
When not glued to her computer screen, Natalie
can be found at the dog park with her dogs Lois and Gunshy, Instagramming said dogs, or talking about (and sometimes to) the pair of them at great length. She also serves as Superfan in Chief of her husband, local singer/songwriter Mike Vial
Publisher (Interim): Ashley Aidenbaum
Ashley is currently serving as Interim Publisher for Concentrate in addition to her regular duties in Toronto and as the Director of New Markets and Outreach for Issue Media Group. Prior to joining IMG, Ashley worked as a consultant for the State of Michigan. She also interned at Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) shortly after graduating from the University of Michigan in 2007, where she studied Cultural Anthropology and History. Her areas of special interest were Cold War culture and suburbanization in postwar America. In her free time, Ashley enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family.
