Ypsilanti Township considers contributing to business incubator

Municipalities are getting ready to help chip in to fund the Ann Arbor SPARK satellite incubator in Ypsilanti. The city of Ypsilanti has pledged $15,000 and Ypsilanti Township is considering doing the same.

Municipalities are starting to line up to help fund Ann Arbor SPARK’s proposed incubator for Ypsilanti. The city of Ypsilanti has pledge $15,000 and Ypsilanti Township is looking at making a similar proposal.

Ypsilanti Township could contribute $15,000 over three years toward a business incubator to serve eastern Washtenaw County.

 

The township Board of Trustees, which held a joint meeting with the Ypsilanti City Council Tuesday, said it would consider contributing at its next meeting this month, said Mayor Paul Schreiber.
