Frank Lloyd Wright is a name that commands respect and awe in architecture while is only house in Ann Arbor is doing the same with its $1.5 million price.

A one-of-a-kind house in Ann Arbor is going for a one-of-a-kind price.

Excerpt:

With its triangular architecture, origami furniture and window views of the forest landscape outside, growing up in Ann Arbor’s only Frank Lloyd Wright house was anything but typical, says Mary Dunn.

“You realized its restrictions right away; the rooms were small, you couldn’t put pink posters on the wall, the hallways were narrow,” Dunn said of her family’s home, known as the Palmer House.

“But the restrictions were completely made up for whenever people would come visit the house and their eyes would open wide in a state of complete appreciation for it.”

Soon, new owners may get to experience what it means to live in a house designed by the famed architect.

For the first since it was designed more than a half-century ago for the Palmer family, the home is up for sale.

The price: $1.5 million.
