Video Office Walls = Gallery Space
One of the eternal challenges of being an artist is finding a venue for your work. Ann Arbor’s Distinct Designs, an interior design firm that specializes in work places, has found a way to inspire clients and provide local artists with more exposure.
One thing most office spaces and work places have is lots and lots of walls. And then, of course, there are the lobbies.
Joy Naylor of Ann Arbor-based Distinct Designs saw an opportunity to do more than fill those spaces with corporate-themed inspirational posters and generic, mass produced paintings.
Why not turn those hallways and lobbies into art galleries, displaying the work of local painters, sculptors and photographers?
The client gets dynamic and rotating decor for its office. The artist gets an audience for his or her work (and possibly some sales). And the world is just a little bit more beautiful.
