A few days from now, U-M student Leslie Garrison will buck at least two trends: She’ll have remain in Michigan after graduation (though she’s not a native). And she’ll take part in a growing local industry. Garrison thinks this state has what it takes to lead the nation in sustainable innovation. Right down to the first composting toilet.
