Video Corner Brewery
The Corner Brewery is the very definition of ‘third place’. Or maybe it’s best to think of it as Ypsi’s town commons. Drop in on this neighborhood hang out any night of the week and you’re bound to run into someone you know. Or someone you should know.
It’s a brewery, you know the routine – stay with the taps and you’ll be fine. Bottles = banality. Fresh pour = happiness. Try the Espresso Love or Sacred Cow Pale Ale. Kick back with friends or do some web surfing. Extra points for being a non-smoking establishment. Everyone in Ypsi washes up at the Corner Brewery eventually, and the beer garden is ground zero for locals during the summer. In the winter the cozy, comfy living room furniture turns the south side of the brewery into your home away from home. Plus twice a year The Shadow Art Fair moves in with bands, locally made artsy stuff and gobs of visitors. It ain’t all Nirvana, though. The food struggles but who needs it. They say 26 beers a day will give you everything you need to survive. Don’t know who ‘they’ are but someone should give ’em a grant.
