Video Aernnova Lands In Ann Arbor
When you’ve got 20,000 engineering students within 100 miles of your community, it’s easy to make the case that Ann Arbor is the place for engineering firms to set up shop. And that just what U-M’s Business Engagement Center did when it attracted Aernnova to The Deuce.

Think of U-M’s Business Engagement Center (BEC) as the welcome mat for high tech companies to come to SE Michigan.
By providing a pipeline of cutting edge talent, offering technological collaboration and making available educational opprtunities for employees, the BEC opens the door to industries Michigan needs to transform its economy.
Case in point: Aernnova, a spanish aerospace engineering firm that just planted its North American roots in Tree Town. The center will focus on the design of composite and metal aerostructures — sections of aircraft such as wings, tails and fuselage. Needless to say, that means lots of high tech jobs. It’s $10 million aerospace engineering center is expected to employ over 200 employees within 5 years and up to 600 people with 15 years.
