Ypsilanti businessman David Curtis singled out for small business award

David Cross is getting his day in the sunshine. This time the downtown Ypsilanti business owner has been recognized as the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Person of the Year.

One of downtown Ypsilanti’s biggest business owners has won the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Person of the Year.

Excerpt:

In 2001, David Curtis opened Club Divine in Ypsilanti. In 2002, he opened Pub 13 and its “Dueling Pianos” show. Later that year he opened The Best Dang Sports Bar, located in the upper level of Pub 13. His new restaurant, J. Neil’s Mongolian Grille – with Key Stones Wine Bar & Desserts on the lower level – is set to open in an anchor spot in downtown Ypsilanti within the next two months.

So it’s not surprising that the Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce named Curtis the 2008 Small Business Person of the Year.
