The Ann Arbor-based bookseller is in the process of creating its own Web identity, and hopes to launch its own site in 2008. The site offers a unique linkage between its e-commerce site and in-store kiosks.

“A big part of the site for us first and foremost was that we create something both innovative and intuitive,” (Vice-President for e-business Kevin) Ertell said. “We really wanted to have the Borders feel, to have that warmth and spirit of a bookstore. That’s really been a great thing to give people the feel of a real bookstore.”
