What’s the business: Scooter sales and service and vintage muscle car restoration.

 

Business started: Vintage Performance started in 2001; he added Scoot Around Town in 2003.

 

Startup costs: $30,000.

 

Job in another life: He is still an internal medicine physician every other week for St. Joseph Mercy Health System.

 

Advice you’d give to another business: “Know your potential customers and products very well.”
